Steps to Membership
Step One: Application Form
Begin your journey by completing and signing the official application form. Ensure all details are accurate to avoid delays in processing.
Step Two: Submit Required Documents
Attach your CV along with proof of your current GMDC registration or equivalent if you are practicing outside Ghana.
Step Three: File Your Application
Submit your completed application and documents to the General Secretary, who will forward them to the Executive Council for review.

Once your application has been approved, the next step is to ensure your membership remains active. Begin by paying your annual subscription fee, which is due at the start of each calendar year. Application Process
For those who do not meet the standard membership criteria, there are alternative routes available. Junior residents without a diploma can apply as Trainee Members, which includes voting rights. Additionally, Medical Officers working in accredited training institutions or anaesthesiologists practicing outside Ghana can join as Associate Members, although this category does not include voting rights. These pathways ensure that all professionals have the opportunity to be part of our community.
