Application steps
Step One
Complete and sign the prescribed application form(s)
Step Three
Attach your CV and evidence of current GMDC registration (or equivalent if practising abroad)
Step Three
File everything with the General Secretary, who forwards it to the Executive Council
Step Four
The Executive Council reviews and approves or rejects the application
Next Steps
Then: pay your annual subscription (due at the start of the calendar year) to remain in good standing with voting rights.
Other routes: junior residents without a diploma can apply as Trainee Members (voting rights), while Medical Officers in accredited training institutions or anaesthesiologists practising outside Ghana can apply as Associate Members (no voting rights)
